Alphabet Polska partnerem Katalogu Pojazdów Elektrycznych 2020/2021

There are already over 100 models of electric cars on the Polish market, and BEV and PHEV are offered in virtually every segment. Battery capacity, performance and charging power increase. The average range of all-electric cars offered in Poland exceeds 380 km (WLTP). The price range of new fully electric cars ranges from 80,000 to almost 800,000. PLN - results from the latest PSPA Electric Vehicle Catalog, whose partner is Alphabet Polska.

PSPA presented the 4th edition of the Electric Vehicle Catalog. The report shows that the number of electric cars available on the Polish market is increasing every year. Automotive companies present in Poland already offer 101 all-electric models (BEV, battery electric vehicles) and plug-in hybrids (PHEV, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles). In 2017, Polish customers had a choice of 33 BEV and PHEV models, in 2018 - 35, and in the previous year - 46.

The partners of this year's edition of the report are Alphabet, Garo and Webfleet Solutions. Both passenger cars and vans (42 BEV and 59 PHEV) are presented in the catalog. The price range of models sold on the Polish market is very wide. The cheapest fully electric car offered in Poland is the Škoda CITIGOe iV, available from PLN 82,050, excluding subsidies from the support programs of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management. At the opposite end of the spectrum is the Porsche Taycan Turbo S, with prices starting at PLN 794,000. The cheapest plug-in hybrid in Poland is the KIA Ceed 1.6 Gdi Plug-in Hybrid at a price from PLN 127,990, and the most expensive - Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid Coupé, for which you have to pay at least PLN 864,000. Importantly, a number of BEV and PHEV models, belonging to popular market segments and offered at relatively attractive prices, debuted on the market over the past year.

In the range category, vehicles such as the Tesla Model S Long Range (652 km), Tesla Model 3 Long Range (582 km) and the Volkswagen ID.3 with a 77 kWh battery (546 km) are in the lead. The catalog shows that the average BEV range of all-electric cars is approximately 380 km (WLTP).

A similar trend can be observed in the PHEV segment. The ranges of the current generation plug-in hybrids often exceed 50 km in Zero Emissions Mode (WLTP). The record holder in this field is the Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 e, which can, in theory, drive 89 km on electric power. It is followed by the BMW X5 xDrive45e (77 km), as well as the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, Mercedes-Benz A 250 e and Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 e (65 km each).

The EV market is changing very dynamically, and new vehicles with electric drive are regularly sold, which is why PSPA has also launched a constantly updated online version of the catalog as part of the electromobilni.pl social campaign (https://elektromobilni.pl/baza-pojazdow/) . The elektrobilni.pl campaign is one of the most comprehensive initiatives in Europe, the goal of which is to educate and increase social awareness in the field of the development of zero-emission technologies in transport.
