14 December 2017 (Munich) – Alphabet España, a leasing, fleet management and Business Mobility provider now manages over 50,000 vehicles. With operations in Spain for more than 15 years, Alphabet has been recognised for its commitment to excellence, as well as for its flexibility, sustainability, innovation and safety. Groundbreaking services in the sector, such as CarSharing with AlphaCity or eMobility with AlphaElectric, exemplify the company’s efforts to stay at the forefront of a constantly changing market. Currently, the company has over 6,500 clients in Spain and Samsung Electronics Iberia S.A. was the recipient of Alphabet’s 50,000th vehicle.
Since launching in Spain in 2001, Alphabet has grown steadily, always accompanying clients and meeting their needs by implementing new products and services. Its portfolio includes AlphaCity, which has provided corporate CarSharing since 2013; AlphaElectric, the integrated corporate eMobility solution; and motorbike leasing, a pioneering solution that kicked off last year. Its latest product, AlphaRent, provides flexible, sustainable mobility in the form of for-rent passenger cars and light commercial vehicles. Users can select between a combustion or an electric engine and a regular or a premium model. They can rent the car for as long as they want, starting at a few hours, and settle the invoice directly when finished.
Within the 50,000 vehicles managed by Alphabet, it is worth noting the high percentage of alternative-fuel vehicles. There are 18 times more zero-emission cars in Alphabet’s fleet compared to the national average; the number of ECO vehicles is 4 times higher.

Among the large corporations using Alphabet’s services, Samsung Electronics Iberia S.A. has been a key client since 2007. It currently runs a fleet of about 140 vehicles. Samsung was the recipient of Alphabet’s 50,000th vehicle. Norbert van den Eijnden, CEO of Alphabet International, was joined by Rocío Carrascosa to make the delivery.
Over 15 years at the forefront of operational leasing
Alphabet España not only offers fleet management and pioneering services in the mobility industry that are sustainable, flexible and for a range of budgets. It has also led projects that measure and study mobility use amongst Spaniards such as the Mobility Forum, launched in 2014. The project researches mobility habits of Spaniards as well as the needs, trends and challenges facing mobility in large cities.
Understanding the habits of upcoming generations is a goal at Alphabet. Recently, the company reached collective agreements with several universities including Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad de Granada, Universidad de Barcelona and Universidad de Málaga. The aim of the collaboration is to study students’ use of electric mobility.
