2017

Alphabet launches in China.

Alphabet offers a portfolio of services focusing on Financial Leasing and Business Mobility solutions on the Chinese market. To comply with local business regulations, Alphabet operates in China as a part of Herald International Financial Leasing Co. Ltd.

2015

Alphabet outperforms market growth.

With more than 600,000 leased cars and light commercial vehicles in Europe and Australia, Alphabet underlines its position as one of the top five largest fleet providers worldwide.

2013

Alphabet delivers its 500,000th car to Deloitte Poland.  Active in 19 countries and with more than 500,000 satisfied drivers, Alphabet confirms its position as one of the leading international leasing companies today.

2012

Short Term Rental officially comes under the umbrella of Alphabet Long Term Rental NV.

2011

Takeover of ING Car Lease by BMW Group, as well as the establishment of the new Alphabet. Two international players together. That means a doubling of the fleet, greater European spread and stronger market position.

2004

Short Term Rental and Long Term Rental are brought together in 2 companies.

2001

Launch of Alphabet in Belgium.
CW Lease is given the name ING Car Lease, acquisition of Locabel-Auto.

1997

Alphabet is established in the United Kingdom as part of the BMW Group.
