Alphabet dostarcza e-Golfy do floty ABB Polska

ABB Polska has expanded its fleet with electric versions of one of the most popular Volkswagen models. The handover of three e-Golf cars, provided by Alphabet Polska, took place in August this year at the company's Warsaw headquarters.

Companies from the ABB Group are Alphabet's customer since 2006 and during that time company's vehicles were serviced in  Full Service Leasing and fleet management.

Over the last 10 years, Alphabet Polska has delivered nearly 800 vehicles to the ABB fleet. We are very happy that our offer of financing and servicing  of new cars won again, thanks to which we have also become the supplier of electric vehicles to the ABB fleet – says Krystian Kowalski, Corporate Sales Manager, Alphabet Polska.

ABB specializes in solutions dedicated to energy and automation, and research into electromobility is also carried out at the Corporate Research Center in Krakow.

The decision to  include electric cars in ABB's fleet perfectly fits the business characteristics of our company, which is a leader in the production of stations for fast charging of electric vehicles, that allow recharging electric car batteries up to 80% in about 30 minutes. We decided to choose the e-Golf model because it is the perfect combination of practicality and modernity for us - says Grzegorz Sudziński z ABB.

The e-Golf models ordered by ABB are equipped with 136 HP (100 kW) electric motors with an energy consumption of 12.7 kWh / 100 km. The cars have two modes of economical driving: Eco and Eco + and are equipped with KERS system, responsible for the recovery of kinetic energy coming from braking. On a fully charged battery, the range of the car in daily use is approx. 300 km.
