Alphabet Named Company of the Year 2014

Reputable award goes to Alphabet for its cutting-edge approach to Business Mobility

MUNICH 01/07/2014 - For its innovative Corporate CarSharing solution AlphaCity, Alphabet International was honoured with the prestigious Company of the Year Award 2014. At the sixth annual Urban Mobility 3.0 workshop in London on 25th June 2014, the global business consulting firm Frost & Sullivan awarded the accolade to Carsten Kwirandt, Head of Marketing and Business Development at Alphabet International.

In response Mr Kwirandt said, "Receiving this award from Frost & Sullivan is a great honour for our achievements. At a time when convenience, sustainability and cost-efficiency play increasingly important roles for companies, more and more companies are realising that our AlphaCity Corporate CarSharing solution cleverly fulfils all requirements and marks the start of a new era in Business Mobility in their premium corporations."

Active in global research for 50 years, Frost & Sullivan is renowned for their unique way of determining how top-calibre companies worldwide manage growth, innovation and leadership. Based on the results of an independent Frost & Sullivan study, the consulting firm presents the European Company of the Year Award each year to companies exhibiting best practices in their industry. In the corporate carsharing category, AlphaCity ranked number one in 2014 because it offers best-in-class flexibility, freedom, convenience and cost-efficiency to corporate customers.

A range of outstanding features and benefits distinguishes AlphaCity. For one, it's a flexible solution that Alphabet tailors to each customer's requirements by applying its unique consultancy approach. All AlphaCity cars are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, including keyless access. Any registered employee can therefore easily participate in the efficient mobility solution, and can even book cars evenings and weekends for private use, which helps employers recuperate associated costs. Currently AlphaCity is available in 8 countries with more to follow. Its customer base includes everything from mid-sized companies to global players. Soon electric vehicles will also be offered as part of AlphaCity, following Alphabet's mission to be and remain the most innovative and sustainable Business Mobility provider on the market.

Participants at this year's Urban Mobility 3.0 workshop also had the chance to gain direct insight into Alphabet's success: Kit Wisdom, Head of Corporate Mobility at Alphabet UK, spoke on a panel about 'Next level business mobility'. Overall, corporate carsharing was a hot topic at the event, which highlights Alphabet as a proven Business Mobility expert.
